It’s so rich and just taste like heaven. I really want to make some like that. Yum!
This is the best one I have ever had. Its a little touchy so if it doesnt work quite right the first time dont be afraid to try again! it should come out really rich and smooth. I hope you try the recipie I know if you do you will love it.
Rich Cocoa Fudge
Ingredients:
3 cups sugar
2/3 cup HERSHEY’S Cocoa or HERSHEY’S SPECIAL DARK Cocoa
1/8 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 cups milk
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
1. Line 8-or 9-inch square pan with foil, extending foil over edges of pan. Butter foil.
2. Mix sugar, cocoa and salt in heavy 4-quart saucepan; stir in milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to full rolling boil. Boil, without stirring, until mixture reaches 234°F on candy thermometer or until small amount of mixture dropped into very cold water, forms a soft ball which flattens when removed from water. (Bulb of candy thermometer should not rest on bottom of saucepan.)
3. Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla. DO NOT STIR. Cool at room temperature to 110°F (lukewarm). Beat with wooden spoon until fudge thickens and just begins to lose some of its gloss. Quickly spread into prepared pan; cool completely. Cut into squares. Store in tightly covered container at room temperature. About 36 pieces or 1-3/4 pounds.
NOTE: For best results, do not double this recipe.

At Winterfest 2006, five brave young men (Benjamin Seamon, Jay Dorris, Adam Brown, Landon Parrish, and Jonathan Rhodes) set out on the adventure of a lifetime. With a magic carpet purchased from a Persian street vendor in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, they set off on the ride of a lifetime throughout the skies over the Great Smoky Mountains. The rest is history.

My boyfriend and I rented a cabin in the Gatlinburg TN Mnts for this Valentine’s weekend. We were planning on just staying in the cabin the entire weekend but friends told us we need to get out and do things while there. Any suggestions on where to go and what to do!?
The aquarium is very nice, Cooter’s Garage, a free tribute to the Dukes of Hazzard, if you go to Pigeon Forge, the Smith Family show is hilarious, do a search on tripadvisor.com the pigeon forge forum for more things to do and see. The Smith show has discount coupons. Dixie Stampede for a dinner show, great whether you have seen it or not.

We want a 2 bedroom in the woods, literally. We don’t want a cabin close to others, but how do we know. Has anyone been to one? Help
Ian C …
Regarding your not wanting your Gatlinburg cabin rental to be too close too others, it depends on what you mean by "close to others". You don’t want to be able to see another cabin from yours? You don’t want to be able to hear anybody from your cabin? Do you want a cabin rental in the middle of 50 acres? Some Gatlinburg cabins are very close, but they still have very nice views of the mountains. Some Gatlinburg cabins are very private, but with no view. Just a few things to think about when renting a cabin in Gatlinburg — and here are a few more:

I absolutely want a hot tub, pool table, and a nice view.
I would suggest looking at this website:
http://www.baskinscreek.com/cabins_chalets.php
Look at the cabin named "Lovers Lair" Should fit most of your requirements. (Look at the pics: outdoor and indoor hot tub and pool table). We have stayed at several of the cabins here and they are great. Highly recommend.

I’m going to be in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area and am wondering what else there is to do? Any ideas?
The aquarium and Dixie Stamped are both fun. Ride the ski lift or cable car. Dollywood is also a fun place to go. The ski lift is awesome…you can see all of Gatlinburg from the top. But in my opinion the best thing to do is go through Smokey Mountain National park. You will see some beautiful and unspoiled nature in the raw.
Cades Cove is a must….we went last October and I couldn’t tell you how many deer we saw and how close they were to the vehicles!
Clingmans Dome is amazing as well…it’s the highest point in the park, and what a view!
Don’t forget to check out the waterfalls. You will see some nice ones off the road but if you want a spectacular sight you will have to do some walking. Some are a mile hike and others are as much as 10 but worth it!
If you haven’t found a place to stay yet, may I suggest an amazing cabin. This is where my husband and I stayed last October….very romantic!
