Me and a few friends are going to Gatlinburg in mid-late march this year. What is the weather like at that time? Will the trees still look dead from winter, or will they be getting leaves yet? Thanks!

Ah, Tennessee in March. Could be 80 degrees. Could be 20. Could be 80 one day and 20 the next. Not likely to have leaves on the trees unless it warms up soon. We have had an incredibly long, cold winter, so I doubt we will have an early spring.

I suggest checking www.nws.noaa.gov the week before your trip to see the forecast and plan accordingly.
